任玉岭 原为国务院资深参事，全国政协第八届委员、第九、第十届常委，国家教育咨询委员会委员，中国书画协会名誉主席，中华海峡两岸书画艺术家协会主席。
Ren Yuling, former senior counsellor of the State Council, member of the 8th, 9th and 10th Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, member of the National Education Advisory Committee, honorary chairman of the Chinese painting and Calligraphy Association, and chairman of the painting and calligraphy artists association across the Taiwan Strait.
艺术人生：
任玉岭既是科学家、经济学家、社会活动家，也是著名的书法家。他自幼受父亲擅长书画的影响，对翰墨怀有深厚感情。童年时期天天要写大倣、小楷，自幼练就了书法的童子功。他的书法创作虽然起步较晚，但一问世便不同凡响。他曾先后连续五次获得了辛亥革命书展、共产党九十周年书展、文化部百名艺术传承人书展、海峡两岸书画交流展以及阿斯塔纳国际文化展金奖。共和国成立七十周年之际，出版界为填补书法大红袍出版物的空白，通过推荐和遴选出版了《共和国第一部书法大红袍·中国近现代书画艺术名家任玉岭》一书，彰显了任玉岭在书法界的地位和影响。
Ren Yuling is not only a scientist, economist, social activist, but also a famous calligrapher. Influenced by his father's good at painting and calligraphy, he had deep feelings for calligraphy. In my childhood, I had to write big imitation and small regular every day, and I had practiced calligraphy as a child. Although his calligraphy started late, it was extraordinary when it came out. He has won five consecutive golden prizes in the book exhibition of the revolution of 1911, the book exhibition of the 90th anniversary of the Communist Party, the book exhibition of one hundred art inheritors of the Ministry of culture, the cross-strait painting and calligraphy exchange exhibition and Astana international culture exhibition.On the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China, in order to fill the gap in the publication of calligraphy Dahongpao, the publishing circle recommended and selected the first calligraphy Dahongpao of the Republic, Ren Yuling, a famous Chinese modern calligraphy and painting artist, which demonstrated Ren Yuling's position and influence in the calligraphy circle.
任玉岭不仅被14所大学聘为教授，被55种杂志聘为主编和编委，现在他80岁都过了，有时一周还要走5个省，一天还会有9个会议等着他。他的讲演倍受欢迎，有时一周就可看到他的三个“今日头条”。这些年来，任玉岭还依据社会的需要和百姓对他的期待，先后在北京、厦门、河南信阳、浙江长兴四地捐出四个“任玉岭收藏及作品展览馆”。这些展馆皆为永久性展览馆，面积均在1000平米以上。
Ren is not only employed as a professor by 14 universities, but also as editor in chief and editorial board member by 55 magazines. Now he is over 80 years old. Sometimes he has to go to 5 provinces a week, and there will be 9 meetings waiting for him every day. His speech is very popular, sometimes you can see his three "today's headlines" in a week. In recent years, Ren Yuling has donated four "Ren Yuling collection and works exhibition halls" in Beijing, Xiamen, Xinyang, Henan and Changxing, Zhejiang, according to the needs of the society and the expectations of the people. These pavilions are all permanent exhibition halls with an area of more than 1000 square meters.
